When he told us he actually grew up in the home next door, we were hooked to every word he said.
A 10 minute description of the Riads, Dars, streets, alleys, doors and everything else within the first 20 steps enforced his absolute love and knowledge of the Fez Medina in every way. I could not imagine this 4 hour tour being any better, which actually turned into 5, and he would have kept going if we had let him.
A perfect day ending with his dinner recommendation, a perfect dinner.

I was surprised at how large the town of Chaoun was although the Medina is quite small. Very picturesque nestled on the side of the mountain. the local guide was a character. Altogether a very pleasant experience away from the bustle of Fez.
